    Retropi seems to freeze on booting for first time

      I'm having trouble getting the standard RetroPi image working. I've written the image to an SD card and when booting it gets as far as the ASCII art joystick then presents the message:

      "started daily apt upgrade and clean activities" but it never seems to progress beyond this even if I leave it for a very long time.

      Pi Model or other hardware: 2 B
      Power Supply used: Samsung 2A power supply.
      RetroPie Version Used: 4.6
      Built From: retropie-buster-4.6-rpi2_rpi3
      USB Devices connected: Just PS4 controller
      Controller used: PS4

      Any help appreciated.
