Streets of rage remake install help
-
Man every time I come in here there is something cool to do that Floob posts. Love it! I just followed the video on this one and got everything running. Only one problem I ran into is I don't use a keyboard at all on my set up I have it all controlled by a Logitech F310. This is the first game I installed that I can't figure out how to exit back to RetroPie main menu with controller. Any tips? Thanks
-
@plasmah77 i'm using a gamepad also, at least in the first run you have to use a keyboard to map your controllers, after that your good to go without a keyboard.
-
@dishins How do you exit sorr with your controller?
-
@plasmah77 that really depends on your button mappings, i just press start, quit to the main menu and then select exit, that brings me back to emulationstation.
ps: there's a file inside mod folder, config.txt, set it to PSP and the exit option should appear on the menu.
-
@Charco thank you for the info. Do you use ver. 5.1?
-
@dishins Thanks, I must have not seen the Exit on the main menu of sorr. I will boot it up later and check.

Thanks for the trick, but if we do it, we can only play alone, the Two Player is removed from the menu :( :( :(
I have a Hacked Save of this game, from a long years lol ... i try it on PI and it works fine.
With it you will have all characters, all weapons, mods and access to SORMaker : savegame.sorReplace your file in : /opt/retropie/configs/ports/sorr
Now we can access the SORMaker i try it because i have a good selection of mods, but when i enter this menu and select NEw Game, it exit SORR :(
Is some one here already try some mods on PI ?
Thanks -
Could someone sum up the topic? I'm very interested but I'm getting a bit lost... I'm not very good (yet) with linux and retropie :-P I'm pretty sure many users would appreciate this, this is a very good game.

The recent upgrade of the engine to v333 has fixed SORMaker's crashing, worked for me to select the default prototype SORMaker game, anyways.

For other SORMaker games, you just need to copy them into the mods folder but make sure the folder name for each game is written in lowercase letters. It seems like a quirk of the game engine that it always assumes it's running on a case insenstive file system, so it always loads mods by using the lowercase name.
