Can't install Retropie 4.6.8 on my Raspberry 4b running raspbian, can't download mesa-drm and omxiv

    RetroPie Version Used (eg 3.6, 3.8.1, 4.1 - do not write latest): 4.6.8

      Looks like these 2 packages are not signed. You can install them from source to get over the binary installation error for now.

        @mitu Hey I'm pretty nooby when it comes to anything linux/raspbian can you give me a step by step instruction of how i would do this? And what directories they would be put under.

          You can use the 'install from source' option of the package in RetroPie-Setup - see https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Updating-RetroPie/#updatinginstalling-individual-packages.

            I'll sort this.

            You can go to packages -> dependencies and install from source from there.

                @mitu when I try to install omxiv from source it just says: Could not successfully build omxiv - OpenMAX image viewer for the Raspberry Pi (omxiv.bin not found).

                  @superknight1718 Please don't bump old topics, open a new one and provide the info asked in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first. If you're trying to install on the new Raspberry Pi OS release (bullseye), then there's no need for a new topic - RetroPie does not support it yet.
