I am really confused on this matter..
It would be good a debate on the correct name providing evidence or that the developers of the retropie team and the themes take the matter, to have a common front

@kactius just go with neogeocd with everything, it will work the same.

Most themes don't support Neo Geo CD in my experience anyway.

          @kactius
          Check in your folder
          etc
          emulationstation
          themes
in the folder in the theme
example i have it as -
          neocdz theme
but i still use only the
          neogeo theme
          its enough for me:)

Yeah! is correct in neogeo folder work, the original es_system.cfg support chd format.
I find folders in different themes neocd, neogeocd, neogeo_cd, neocdz ,
If i wanted to add it as a separate system, I can't see a correct pattern or naming conventions

@kactius Then just change the theme entry according to the theme you're using.

@nj180grados It does not matter, just check what name your theme uses for that system.

@shavecat sounds to me like either you have the wrong bios or you didn't put them in the right place.

@shavecat I'm not sure what any of this means, but you should have another bios file named neocd.zip on top of neocdz.zip

@shavecat Did you follow the guide in the Neo Geo CD for dummies Thread? That's the one I followed and I had no issue.
