As I am using an external hard drive for my roms & content, I want to keep all my images in the /images folder of the console roms. At the moment, it defaults to putting all the images in /emulationstation/downloaded_images/console

Is there a way to force the built-in scraper to use those directories?

And yes, I already know that the Selph Scraper and Skyscraper have those capabilities but I really don't like using those as, at least right now, I just keep getting API errors or bandwith errors so I'd rather use the built in ES scraper.

      Thank you.

No, there is no option for the built-in EmulationStation scraper to change the download location. If space is a concern, then you can symlink the downloaded_images folder to a folder on the external drive.

Thank you very much for the explanation.
