Another stupid question. I am currently using a PS3 controller bluetooth. It works perfectly for lr-mame2003, nes, psx.
Only issue now is for some reason it doesn't work in the SNES. it comes up when the game boots and says Playstation 3 controller not configured. I see people having had issues with it when it wasn't working for any emulators, but not just one of them

      Sorry for asking lame questions.

Delete the retroarch.cfg for that system then go into retropie settings. Then choose retropie setup. In there choose update retropie-setup. Then after that is done while in there go into manage packages, then go into main packages and install that emulator again.

Nope. Gave that a try and its a turd. Does it for any of the emulators under snes. I just checked to see if it was just one of them. It must be something I did in the retroarch settings. I just have no idea what it could have been

@TheSlimOne so you deleted /opt/retropie/configs/snes/retroarch.cfg? Then went into retropie settings and followed what i said?

@TheSlimOne yes. For snes. Reread my last post. I had missed a part of the path.

I ended up just building it from scratch. I tried what you said. After one of the reboots it started saying my es_systems.cfg was messed up and had to fixed manually. I used the bak that was there and that did nothing. Its no big deal. Its always been an ongoing project
