hi i emailed the retrosupport email as i didnt know if requesting a pinning of a topic was considerd a help support

but they said to ask in the forum..

i made a guide and not sure if its worthy enough for a pinning.. to be at the top not sure if regular users are allowed to make requests or any of it..
so i figured id ask.. i made a post yesterday on setting up the Nespi 4 and i only thought about it today asi seen pins or i know stickys on other sides that sit at the top...
and i likd to know if i can request it to be pinned or if another Help and Support sub heading can be created.. for Users that made a guide can be posted. or a "Guides " Sub heading as i noticed others had gudes down the list.. and maybe theres could be posted there too..

its a suggestion and i not sure who to ask about that a Pinning, aSTicky,, or a new sub heading for Guides that people may have.. Guides or How To's

but that would be great too if there was a sub heading and people could read on some guides and i do realize you got the Docs and some of it is there.. so i dunno if my question is stupid or not but it was just question figured id ask

        We don't usually pin tutorials/howtos.

There's a special topic for useful links here, where you can add your post. That being said, I've read the post and what you describe is largely a normal installation, plus setting up your ROM folders on an external USB driver - which are already covered in the docs.

The only new thing is the workaround for the issue regarding the SATA/USB controller present in the NesPI4 case (kernel quirks need to be added), it's been reported a few times here and in other places. I think it's a useful information, but honestly, I think RetroFlag should document this. Perhaps we should add a note in the docs and reference the Raspberry Pi forums post that covers it.
