No audio on video splash screen or previews.

Hi, I've just upgraded to a Pi 4b 8GB from 4GB. I am using retropie 4.7.1. My build that I put together in the 4GB Pi works fine if I slot the card into my new machine except that there is no sound on the video splash screen or the game previews and screensaver. I tried a few other cards with Retropie 4.7.1 systems I've been working on and the problem is the same. I have looked through the forum and I see others have had a similar problem but that has been when they are using things other than the default (e.g. USB speakers). I'm just using HDMI. This has really got me stumped and I'd be grateful for any help. Thanks.

@t1moth OK after a great deal of head scratching I found the problem. It was a hardware issue of course and it was with the NesPi4 case I was using for the first time. I tried other Pi4boards in the case and got the same problem, SO I tried the same boards with no case and everything was perfect. I'm posting this solution to my own issue in case anyone else has the same problem and finds this helpful.

@t1moth Hi I Accidentally updated my retropie setup script and now unable to hear any audio coming out from HDMI port for my video splash screen I just setup. Do you know any solutions to this somehow?? It was working before but not now...
