        @simpleethat 😄

        In bash-fu, it would be the{ir,re,y're}. Alas, I don't know enough about regular expressions to build one for this.

          @clyde

          That said, Murphy's Law applies there, too. No matter how often I re-read my words, I still see some errors only after posting. 🥴

          Same here. And it also depends on the technical level of what I'm writing. I very often, on here, find that my thoughts are still bubbling on after posting, resulting in several edits until my mind is finally at ease. :D I suspect that can be quite confusing for someone who is already posting a reply to my initial post.

            @muldjord Dito...
            As a cyberpunk GM/player (GM in times of R.Taslorians 2013/2020 settings, player since to nowadays cycle still), I am really puzzled somehow by the thoughts how a direct human/machine interface would add to this ;P

              i take it for granite that people know how words and expressions work.

              Yes, I'm being ironic...

              this joke is just to tie me over till the next one.

              kinda like cutting off my nose despite my face...

              i'll stop

                @gomisensei Bone apple tea!

                Scrapping where I come from means getting in a fight. Or trashing something/destroying a car

                    @ashpool So scrapping is what scavengers do whence scraping their loot?

                    Scraping is what they do when scraping the loot, scraping the muck and grime off it with some kind of small knife.

                    Scrapping is what they do when they disagree about how much loot everyone gets!

                    Then they may decide to scrap the whole thing, scrape together some scraps and hope they never get into such a scrape again! English is fucked.

                    Also just so ya know, whence means "from where" so it made that sentence read a bit strangely :) So like "We went to Dusseldorf, whence Kraftwerk began their domination of the world". haha you caught it :) You could say 'when', 'while' or 'whilst' there too. Again English is fucked.
