Remove the RetroPie Slash Screen?
-
Can anyone tell me what the terminal command or config line is to disable the RetroPie splash screen. I have all other boot text turned off, but can't find this last one in the Retropie docs or guides. I turned it off in the menus as well (far as I know), but does not seem to be going away. What command hands this splash image specifically?

You can remove the
splashscreen
package and it will be gone. -
@mitu Thanks for the reply. But what if I want to replace it with a video? Would removing the package disable that? If I add a video and set it as the splash, with it just replace the default screen? I thought I'd just run it silent for now, but then add a splash video later.

Ah yes, now I remember. I was able to do this on my Pie 3 B, but it had been so long I couldn't find it again (even though it was staring me right in the face). Was too focused on the terminal commands that I forgot about this menu. Simple and effective. Thanks!
