              sudo raspi-config
              or in your optionts in retropie looks for config
              and change there the mem.
              dont think so works fine with me :)

                @shavecat tried before at 256 but the issue remains, then tried at 512 the boot fail...... however thank you !

                    @shavecat you might try to change that flag and also change the GPU memory seeing in EmulationStation. Unfortunately video memory should no longer be an issue on the pi 4, but alas it still is, just a different one.

                    Still, there should be minimal advantages in using omx player instead of VLC on the pi4. I read your comment about the codec for some arcade videos, but you may choose to bulk convert them with handbrake or ffmpeg if it helps.

                      Yes I have the Pi4. You're right pjft, I'm gonna use VLC and convert the videos that need to be converted.
