      Hi All,

Been messing around with resolution settings on my system last couple of days. I have trouble understanding where the resolution and overrides are set.

Example Metal Slug 2 running on FB Alpha v.02.97.44 is running in 3:4 and I want it running in 5:4. I can set this in the retroarch gui of course with no issues. Once I exit and return to the game the setting is gone.

When I manually edit the .cfg and add aspect_ratio_index = "11" for this game the resolution stays at 5:4 but a lot of other games seem to be running 3:4 now. I had a look at another help post :

      https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/22816/guide-retroarch-system-emulator-core-and-rom-config-files

but i can't get it to work. I have added aspect_ratio_index = "11" in all the .cfg files mentioned in the linked post but it keep on 3:4 standard.

      What am I missing ?!

What version of RetroPie/RetroArch are you using ? FBAlpha has been replaced for more than 1 year with FBNeo.

Have you tried saving a game override with your changed settings ?
