    Help!
    Pi Model: 3B+
    File Path: /home/pi/RetroPie-Setup/tmp/build/lr-pcsx-rearmed/pcsx_rearmed_libretro.so

I am trying to install the lr-pcsx-rearmed emulator to fix another problem preventing me from updating my RetroPie Setup Script. Whenever I try to install the lr-pcsx-rearmed emulator from source it gives me the message that the pcsx_rearmed_libretro.so file is missing. But it is not missing, I downloaded it and put it in the correct folder and rebooted several times. Very frustrating. What can I do to have a clean installation from Source to fix my emulator without completely uninstalling it

Update the RetroPie-Setup script first and then re-try the source installation.

@mitu it won't let me update the retropie script... It gives me this error message.

update failed error your local changes to the following files would be overwritten by merge
        Scriptmodules / libretro cores / LR-PCSX-rearm.sh. med.sh
please commit your changes or stash them before you merge.
        aborting

@90sgamer This means the files was modified by you and RetroPie-Setup doesn't know how to update it. Revert the modifications you did on the file and re-try the update.

@mitu I am unsure or unaware of any modifications I made. What should I do?

@mitu The file had the wrong file extension. I got it to update now!
