I've tried a couple of simple ways to get Dreamcast going on my 4b with RP 4.7.11 with no success yet (two US BIOS files in /home/pi/RetroPie/BIOS/dc) and roms in the appropriate rom folder, but Dreamcast just won't appear as a platform in RP.

So the key general question is, doc on Dreamcast current-ish or is Redream the better way to go, something else? I tried following ETA Prime's video of Redream on my PiBoy DMG. He just installed Redream (one click) and dropped GDI's in the rom folder and that was IT. It just worked. He didn't even mention bios files.

Just don't want to be following tutorials that are way out of date.

@agrajag Redream and lr-flycast both work very well on the Pi. Redream does not even need bios files to operate (I don't think Flycast does either, but it can help). If you've installed Redream or lr-flycast through RetroPie-Setup, you should be able to drop your .gdi files and the related track files into the dreamcast folder, and they will work. Make sure to restart ES after doing so. If the system does not show up after doing this, then you might have modified your es-systems.cfg file, such that the dreamcast system is not listed anymore.

@g30ff Thanks. The latter was it. Much appreciated!
