Are there bugs with video snaps?

I've just about gotten most of the way towards completing my initial setup with platforms, themes, roms, etc., and yet in my Arcade platform I'm noticing that video snaps are acting up. The videos exist and work fine run alone, but just don't appear in theme (pi4b, 8gb, RP 4.7.11, Showcase theme). When I first encountered this I assumed it was an issue with the video so I went and manually grabbed replacements off youtube and converted them over. That worked.
Just wanted to make sure this isn't a known bug before I go digging deeper.

try and disable omx player in menu.
