@playingkarrde Yes ... I noticed the lack of reference within the code of the file. I took a look at the skraper settings, but I didn't find anything that could make sense (for me, at least) for an XML tweak. Would you have any recommendations on how I could set it up?

@rudpassos Honestly I'm not super familiar with the gamelist.xml method as I don't personally use raspberry pi as my platform. When I used skraper (which admittedly was a long time ago now) I took it to the metadata converter and used that.

You may want to consider hopping over to the Pegasus thread or discord for some extra help.

@rudpassos I used Skyscraper to gather the media, but I had to make several modifications first because using the metadata from ES does not deliver optimal results.

I had to convert the emulationstation systems file the es_systems.cfg that can be done with the page's metadata converter, but I recommend not using the metadata converter with the gamelist of each system because the syntax in one of the words is incorrect .

Skraper's problem is that it creates an image that mixes the boxart, the screenshot and the logo, but I'm not sure if it will be possible to separate these images into different folders, because pegasus uses almost all of them.
Skyscraper does the same, but it is possible to modify how it will handle the images and tell it to leave them separated in each folder. It also creates the metadata file for pegasus correctly, so it is not necessary to convert the gamelist from ES.

It sounds complex, but if you read the skyscraper guides it is possible to deduce it. Anyway, if you want to do it this way, I can tell you what to do, step by step.

@patomax I found a solution (almost by a miracle!) for this issue in this video.

It worked really well for me (dispite sometimes that I need to make some adjustments in the code by hand) and now I have this interface working fine (finaly! :D)

I am new to this so forgive me if this is a simple answer. I am on a raspberry pi 4B and no matter how many times I run the scraper (skyscraper, I don't have access to Skraper) the game icons are still just the game name. Please help me.

@playingkarrde I do not have any collection files, all my content is generated by EmulationStation and Retroarch.

@goman60 Oh EmulationStation won't scrape the files necessary for gameOS. It needs:

• video (technically optional)
• screenshot
• fanart
• box 2d
• wheel

EmulationStation doesn't get the wheel or video which is why they aren't showing up. I'd recommend scraping all your games on PC (I'm only familiar with Windows but I believe Screenscraper on Linux allows you to get more. It MAY be possible to get them with the Pi version of Skyscraper but you'd need to check with them how to do that as I've not used it).
