A while back I was having some quirky issues with my grid view and a few other weird glitchy things that kept popping up here and there in my theme. @mitu suggested I try emulationstation-dev, which turns out did in fact fix most of these bugs I was dealing with. I'd considered updating and running it as my primary version of emulationstation in my next build/image I'm planning, but I had one concern.

Because it's listed under the "experimental" packages, could I be opening myself up to instability in other areas by replacing the tried and true version that comes installed on the default Retropie image from the main site? I just don't wanna fix one thing but inadvertently open another can of worms down the line when I build my theme around it.

@alphabetapie The -dev version is pretty stable, but it's not so widely tested and sometimes bugs may appear. It's up to you if you want to use it as a daily driver or not.
