Hi, just another noob over here.

When I first boot up my raspberry pi 3b+ whit the Retropie 2/3 image,I don't get the welcome screen.
I followed the instructions from https://retropie.org.uk/docs/First-Installation/

In stead I'm getting the screen that you can see in the picture.
I have waited for close to 1 hour but nothing changes.

I have tried writing the image both by downloading from the Retropie website -> writing with BalenaEtcher, and through the rp imager.

I have tried some older posts that I thought were dealing whit the same problem.
      Had no success whit these.

Does anybody know how to fix this?

Thanks in advance, and sorry for my bad English (i'm also new to that)

      my setup is comprised of:
      raspberry pi 3b+
      Retropie 4.7.1
      a hdmi display
      USB mouse and keyboard
      raspberry pi power supply
      connected to the LAN network

Are you sure you have a Raspberry Pi 3B+ model and not a B+ model ? From the boot message, it looks like you're running on a Pi zero/Pi 1 model, so the image you downloaded is not correct - you should get the Pi 1/Pi 0 image and not the Pi2/Pi3 one.

          @mitu

          yes, I'm scammed.
          I clearly ordered a 3b+ model and got a b+ model.
I'm sorry for bothering you with this stupid mistake.

          Thanks for the help!
