"Invalid arithmetic operator error..." when config basic libretro emulator options

RetroPie Version Used: 4.02
Built From: (Pre made SD Image on RetroPie website 3.8, upgrade to 4.02 )
USB Devices connected: none
Controller used: xbox360 wireless with xpad driver
Error messages received: ")syntex error invalid arithmetic operator token".**How to replicate the problem:
Retropie setup -> configuration/tools ->005 config/edit -> configure basic libretro emulator option -> config default options for "all" libretro emu
when I choose "OK", left lower corner shows ")syntex error invalid arithmetic operator token". then jump back to retropie setup.
But if I choose "individual" emulator instead of "all" ( eg. fba ), I can go into the submenu as normal.
Please help me if there anything wrong, how to fix, thank you.
( it's normal in 3.8, but after upgrade to 4.x, it appear error ).
