So I decided to get monkey Ball for my Retropie. I have a raspberry Pi 4b 8gb if it helps. I have the Naomi.zip and naomi_boot.bin and for monkey Ball I have the correct zip that doesn't have the dat file inside. I also tried changing the region's but when I boot it it says something like "error 1, game not accepted by board". Any help is appreciated.

I have got it running using lr-flycast.
Im not quite sure, but isnt Monkey Ball one of the games that also require an image of the GD in CHD?

@bagel-le-stinky so, do you have only a zip file containing the rom?
You should have also a folder called AFAIR "monkeyb" with the image "monkeyb.CHD" inside.

@sirhenrythe5th So it didn't work. This may have been because I renamed gds-0008.chd, is this what I was supposed to do or is it a different file?

@bagel-le-stinky you are right, sorry, now i remember that you dont have to rename the chd-file, but have to put it in a folder named like the rom-file.
If you rename your chd file back it should work;)
