    I'm setting up advmame 3.9 and some games like bakubaku work great.
    Then astrass runs super zoomed in, like you can only see 50% of it, the centre of it.
    settings are default and tried the 1.25 and 1.0 displayresize but even with 1.0 it doesn't fill the screen. aspect is set to auto.

    i'm on 1280*720 res on my pi400 and using hdmi to my old samsung 16:9 tv. Any ideas on how to get astrass or any other game to play non cropped?

    many thanks!

      @luckyluca this error does affect quite a lot of the STV-games with AdvanceMame.
      As AdvanceMame is no longer in development there will be propably never a solution.
      You cant fix it by changing anything in the configuration.

        I didn't know that. What alternative cores would you recommend for sega titan titles?
        fbneo, mame2016?

        i'm not fussy in regard to precision, as long as games are playable decently on the pi400.

        thanks

          @luckyluca sad as it is...i dont have an alternative for SEGA STV on the Pi :/
          FBNeo does not support them at all (maybe sometime, but not yet) and the MAME Cores freeze the whole system (!) when i start STV.
          AdvanceMame is indeed the only emulator that runs them at all.
          We have to wait i guess;)

            @sirhenrythe5th
            I think I solved it by disabling display_magnify in the .rc

            Please note some games appear to have the wrong aspect. gdarius and gdarius2 seem to be vertical, but videos on youtube appear to show them 4:3. This is unrelated to the setting above I think. I don't know enough about stv games tbh.
