The Famous Five: Treasure Island, except the known intro video bug, works fine.

I never figured out how to get this going, but has anyone tested or willing to test the freeware version of Vanguard Princess?

Don't forget that Windows on Raspberry can run a great many games, but is a horror show to create a working image. It took me an entire weekend.

System Config: Retropie 4.4 with full desktop, RPi 3B, 256gb SD, 5v 2.1A 5,200 mAH USB battery. EasyMSX controller mounted with Pimoroni Hyperpixel 4 (non touch). Also running 4.6 on a 4gb Pi 4 serving as my primary desktop computer now.

                    Ahoy .
Mugen 1.0 and some mugen 1.1 run really good .
Second picture is list of current mugens i have run good.
Using 640x320 resolution, and fullscreen. Some run fine with higher res but most don't.

@troopaking I've followed your tutorial verbatim and successfully installed Wine and Box86!

However, I was unable to get Vanguard Princess to work. It loads to black and then returns to Emulationstation. EDIT: I've tested it on my PC, and it runs fine. Am I missing a step with the .conf file? I copied the code exactly as you wrote it, with the obvious exception of adding my folder name and file name. EDIT 2: .sh method didn't work either. I'm starting to think I'm just out of luck...

@dodonpachi some games won't run . Test something easier first . Also please to go to linked forum to discuss.

Aslo if anyone wants to map keyboard and mouse to joystick refer to discussion post . We have been working on it and are very successful. All my games played with a ps3 style controller .

Half Lie 1 runs good except for first menu lol.

Worms Forts Demo runs really good .

GoldenAxe Myth runs good and is a cool indie freeware game .

Wolfenstien Enemy Territory is another good indie game .

Will attach pictures of all soon.

                              @troopaking question
is there any benefit to running the games through box86/wine instead of using the ports that are working good on the pi for half-life and Wolfenstien Enemy Territory.

or are you just seeing what will work and what wont?

@exarkuniv i don't really see an advantage unless the ports are "dumbed down" .
I'm just testing to see what works

@mth75 I tried Age of Empires II on Raspberry Pi 4 and I have 2 problems.

The first is that the game not always start, I have to try to launch the game multiple times (from Wine-created shorcut or from "winetricks explorer").

The second is that the first 3 videos when game starts are not visible.

                                      Box86 with Dynarec v0.2.3
                                      Wine stable 6.0.1

                                      Any idea?

@francemsr using .conf or .sh . Cause .sh works with baldurs gate visual issues but not .conf .
Also please take this to the thread we have for this. Box86 retropie forum

@troopaking Nothing is changed, sometimes it crashes with a segmentation fault on startup. The videos are always not visible.

A segmentation fault is a problem with the pointed memory, maybe a bug on Dynarec?!
