Can't access retropie menus keep getting scolling text

Hello,
So I just installed on a new SD card the latest image of retropie 4.7.1 it been along time since I updated I had 4.4 prior to this everything worked fine i was able to boot up and set up wifi and shh loaded roms played for about 20 minutes then i wanted to add experimental packages so I can get ports on my pi and I got a black screen and scrolling text and thats normal but what it says is not after a few seconds I get kicked back to the retropie menu in emulation station and now any time I try to open a menu from there I get the same text and get kicked back to emulation station picture of text blow if you need more information I'm will to provide I just might need help on how to get that information any help would be appreciated 20210822_112407.jpg
Pi Model : 3b+
Power Supply used: Cana kit 5v 2.4amp
RetroPie Version Used :4.7.1
Built From: retropie site with the pre made image
USB Devices connected:none
Controller used:f350 logitech -
Can you run from the terminal:
sudo apt update sudo apt install subversionand post the output ?

@mitu thanks for the help I can run the trem I did the commands and it's working like it should I will post when it's done and can verify everything is ok
