Hi! I am running Retropie-buster-4.7.1 on a Pi 3b and I'm having some trouble and I'm looking for a guide specifically to add all bios/boot screen/animations to my Retropie Emulators. I notice some pages have instructions, and I was able to get my Genesis games to display the TMSS screen upon boot up with this (example):

      BIOS
lr-genesis-plus-gx can load MegaDrive TMSS startup ROM (bootrom): bios_MD.bin

Place your bios_MD.bin BIOS file in

      /home/pi/RetroPie/BIOS

My next steps and the emulators that I've been having trouble with are:

      • Game Boy (lr-gambatte)
      • Game Boy Color (lr-gambatte)
      • Game Boy Advance (lr-mgba)
      • NeoGeo Pocket Color (lr-beetle-ngp)
      • Playstation (lr-pcsx_rearmed)
      • Sega Master System (lr-genesis-plus-gx)
      • Sega 32X (PicoDrive)

Is there anywhere that can guide me in a similar way to help get my bios/boot screens going for all of these emulators similarly? Thank you all for any help!

UPDATE (If it's helpful for others doing the same), I was able to get all Game Boy Bios Animation Startups by loading the individual bios files (ex: Game Boy: gb_bios.bin) in the /home/pi/RetroPie/BIOS folder, and then switching "Use official bootloader" to "ON" in the options.

I noticed that two emulators work in this way for the most part, but then certain games will break them, upon booting such as:

      • Playstation (lr-pcsx_rearmed) - Works for bootup for most games, but Dragonball Z: Ultimate Battle 22 (JP) will send you straight to the PSX menu instead of running the game
      • Sega Master System (lr-genesis-plus-gx) - Works for bootup for most games, but Sonic the Hedgehog (U) will cause the screen to turn purple and generate an error message

Also, NeoGeo Pocket Color (lr-beetle-ngp) does not have a way to include a boot screen, as far as I can tell. Thank you all again so much for any help with this!
