Title says it all, really. If I use a Euro version of, say, Street Fighter Alpha (sfa), will that run slower on RetroPie than the US version (sfau)?

i.e. Does it work the same for arcade games as the PAL / NTSC difference on consoles? I'm unable to tell a difference by eye, so hence my question here.

@weirdh all arcade cabinets would use a 60Hz CRT (well, some arcade games are not 60Hz but that's not region specific). 50hz consoles were only a thing because of the different broadcasting standard (PAL) which was 50Hz and a different resolution, so the consoles for PAL regions had to be 50Hz (later on consumer TVs started accepting both standards and there was a PAL 60Hz mode - dreamcast was the first console i'm aware of that had 60Hz modes in PAL regions).

an arcade cabinet is not being used to watch TV so it doesn't matter :) they're just the same output all over the world.
