8bitdo sn30 pro+ pop / sdlpop
-
Hello!
Raspberry 3b+
original power source
retropie-buster-4.7.1-rpi2_3.img.gz
an usb keyboard and mouse dongle
8bitdo usb dongle connected to a sn30 pro+Retropie seems to have detected the 8bitdo dongle just fine and mapped all the keys.
The NES emulator works just fine it seems .. I can exit...Tried using Dosbox to launch PoP but for some reason it stays crouched... it moved left/right but then crouches again if not pressing anything.
I managed to map a key to the shutdown functionality so I can exit from dosbox using the controller...Then thought to use SDLPoP. Pressed ctrl+j from the keyboard .. but still, the controller only seems to move left right ( the abxy keys don't seem to do anything ).
Can't figure out how to exit using the controller. So anybody can help me identify, debug and/or fix the issues... ?
Thanks !

found exactly the same with my sn30 pro, did you find a solution?
I remember somebody had it setup and running with the same controller on the playstation classic.

@luckyluca
Solved it.For anybody wondering, you must delete the fle SDLPoP.ini
run prince to generate it again (rename to .ini)
uncomment the gamecontroller line
download the file https://github.com/gabomdq/SDL_GameControllerDB/blob/master/gamecontrollerdb.txt
into the same folder where prince is.Voila'!
