I have an arcade box running EmuElec which I've installed Pico-8 on, just as I have on my Retropie. On the arcade box I can quit back to EmulationStation by pressing Start+Select twice, as with any other system, but it doesn't work on the Retropie - I have to use the keyboard. Is there any workaround?

Raspberry Pi 3b and 8GB Raspberry Pi 4, both running Retropie 4.7.1 installed from scratch using Raspberry Pi Imager, with wired keyboard, wireless mouse and double arcade joystick attached.

@jimmyfromthebay Im on the same struggle right now, how do you installed pico8 in the first place? because im noticing that using the lr-retro8 allows you to quit as normal, but im having struggling installing it properly I think, theres a bunch of guides on installing it, and everyong tweek the emulator.cfg and es_systems.cfg and im kinda lost, right now Im working with the pico8_dyn, that runs as the pico8 is meant to run the roms, as images, with the -splore and in that way is really needed the keyboard to be able to quit (tho the games I can quit to splore with the start), I saw somes ones that work arround with an xboxrdv, right now I was able to run (and quit properly) the two marballs games as cart in the ES pico8 menu with the lr-retro8 but other ones stays in a blackscreen ... Im so puzzled

@8ritorneloz oh, if you know your controller (in the retroarch menu you can know, in settings controller i think) in the pico-8 folder, there is sdl_controllers, with the inputs, let me know if that can help

              I installed it with this:

              What's lr-retro8?

@8ritorneloz Yeah, read up on it now but it sounds pretty preliminary atm. I had a look at editing the sdl_controller file but it's totally incomprehensible.

@jimmyfromthebay You can EXIT individual game cartridges by hitting START on your controller and then select 'SHUTDOWN.' In SPLORE browser you need to hit START on controller, then hit 'OPTIONS' then 'SHUTDOWN!'

@cdaters Hmm, hitting Start does nothing for me.
