      Pi Model: 3
RetroPie Version Used: upgraded to the lates
      Built From: RetroPie website
USB Devices connected: USB keyboard and USB Xbox 360 controller
Controller used: USB Xbox 360 controller
Emulator: I've tried all N64 emu that is already loaded in to the image or from updating.

Alright so, I am trying to do away with the USB keyboard. I can not find away to bring up the core menu of retro pie when in the N64 emus. All other emus work. All the other emus I can mapped the menu button in the hotkeys to open when I press the USB Xbox 360 controller Home button. (the big circle with the x on it). Also by default F1 on the keyboard will open up the menu. However F1 will not open up retro pies core menu. So how dose one get the menu to pop up? N64 custom controls

the default emulator is not a libretro core so doesn't have the retroarch gui. You can try "lr-glupen64" from optional packages though if you require a libretro emulator.
