Trying to install RetroPie as an app on top of a fresh image of Bullseye. Everything goes well pulling the script but most core and main packages fail to install. RetroArch and Emulation Station packages failed to install. Error message for RetroArch says "Could not successfully build sdl2 - SDL 2-dev_2.0.10+5rpi_armhf.deb not found".

There's so much information, I just want to start with fixing RetroArch. I keep reading about a sdl2 library but honestly I'm so lost at this point

RetroPie doesn't support Bullseye yet, use the latest Buster image if you wish to install it manually on Raspi OS or just use the image provided on the download page.
