Hi there is a method to install and merge retroarch v1.10.0 by pikiss setup with a preinstalled retroarch by retropie v.4.7.21 on raspberry pi4?
I have tried to do so but now i have 2 different retroarch the first installed by retropie (without vulkan Support) the second by pikiss with vulkan support but in 2 different path
They go in conflict with joystick Configuration...
There is a method to merge togheter the 2 retroarch v.1.10.0 with vulkan supprt in Emulationstation ?
      Anyone can help me ?

I'm waiting for vulkan driver too. I would like to understand why they are still not embedded in retropie distro.

this is an open project, you are free to embedd vulkan-support to the distro by yourself, the community would be grateful ;)
(at least those community members that believe Vulkan does make huge differences and PS2-Games run in 4k and 200fps on a Pi3 with it)

@giandeejay if you want that then try twisterOS. i know they have Pikiss installed in it, and i believe better video drivers since they use a desktop already.

                I help myself ....
If you install pixeldesktop and pikiss and vulkan driver on retropie (now I had upgraded to retropie 4.8.2 )you can simply integrate lr-ppsspp vulkan driver support installed by pikiss simply editing es_systems.cfg and add a new system called (for example) ppsspp vulkan and edit the command line to execute with xinit lr-ppsspp (from the new directory created by pikiss)...
So retroarch in emulationstation remain the same (without vulkan support) but when you execute from emulationstation the new emulator lr-ppsspp vulkan driver supported is correctly launched and executed ....
You don't need to install retroarch from pikiss because retropie won't see the new retroarch...
Yes this is a (great) trick ...but works on
Duckstation and lr-ppssspp installer by pikiss (with vulkan drivers) and launched from emulationstation with desktop initialization thank to xinit command before the launch script of every emulators...
                You can watch my solution
