RetroPie on Old Arcade Legends
-
Hello everybody, Ive come to see if maybe I could get some help. I have an early 2000’s Chicago Gaming Company Arcade legends, and I recently have wanted to convert it over to RetroPie. It has VGA input to the CRT in the cabinet. When I plug in the pi and it boots, I get three vertical screens, like three separate even screens left to right. I’m not sure if I have some settings wrong or what, but when I plug it into another separate monitor it works fine. Raspberry Pi 4.

Is the VGA input expecting RGBHV or a Composite signal ? What are you using to convert to VGA on the Pi side ?
-
@mitu admittedly I’m not to sure what kind of signal it is expecting. It runs off a pc inside of it, and i use a mini hdmi to vga adapter.

If the PC runs CRT Emudriver with Composite enabled, most likely the monitor only accepts a Composite signal, which is not what the adapter will provide.
