Controller Issue
-
Hi all,
My controller works properly on the EmulationStation menus and in all of the individual emulators when they are called through Retroarch.
But for some reason it has stopped working on the blue Linux menu screens when they are called from the Retropie menu within EmulationStation.
My only workaround has been plugging in a keyboard (which does work on those screens).
Does anyone know how to set / reset the controller configuration for use in the blue Linux menu screens? Thanks.

Please add some more info about your system as requested in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first
What hardware are you on? How did you install RetroPie? What version is it?
Make sure
joy2key
is installed and updated under RetroPie-Setup > manage packages > core packages: -
Thanks - that did the trick.
And apologies for breaking protocol - here are some of the details of the set-up (which I did not build myself, I'm not much of a tech guy):
RetroPie-Setup version: 4.7.21
rpi4 (armv71)
Raspbian GNU/Linux 10 (buster)
Linux retropie 5.10.17-v17That's what it told me about the system when I ran the installation of joy2key, at least.
