How-To Load Street Fighter II Champion Edition (1993)(SPS) [Multi Disks]
-
After researching for 2 days and going crazy, I finally got SFII Champion Edition (1993)(SPS) to work via Batocera. This applies to everyone who uses the same emulator via RetroArch.
*** This is/was done in Batocera v33 ***
Example used: Street Fighter II Champion Edition (1993)(SPS)(Disk 1 of 4)(System).dim
Street Fighter II Champion Edition (1993)(SPS)(Disk 2 of 4)(Disk 1).dim
Street Fighter II Champion Edition (1993)(SPS)(Disk 3 of 4)(Disk 2).dim
Street Fighter II Champion Edition (1993)(SPS)(Disk 4 of 4)(Disk 3).dimStep #1: Assuming you wrote a .m3u file then Load up the Game.
Step #2. Once you get to the part where it prompts you to "Set Disk 2", Press [F12] on your keyboard to get to the Emulator's
"SWITCH for PX68k Version 0.15+" menu.Step #3. DO NOT worry about ejecting virtual disk tray or anything like that. Simply go to [FDD0] using your gamepad and
press "B" button for me to enter [FDD0] and press "B" button again to enter [Street Fighter II Champion Edition (1993)
(SPS)(Disk 1 of 4)(System).dim] and change it to [Street Fighter II Champion Edition (1993)(SPS)(Disk 2 of 4)(Disk
1).dim].Step #4. Now go into [FDD1] and change it to [Street Fighter II Champion Edition (1993)(SPS)(Disk 3 of 4)(Disk 2).dim].
Step #5. Now simply press [F12] on your keyboard. The game may start or ask you to "Set Disk 3". Well do the same. Press [F12]
on your keyboard to get into the "SWITCH for PX68k Version 0.15+" menu and go into [FDD1] and change it to [Street
Fighter II Champion Edition (1993)(SPS)(Disk 4 of 4)(Disk 3).dim].Step #6. Now again press [F12] on your keyboard and the game should then load/start. If it asks you to "Set Disk 3" again, just repeat
Steps 3 through 6.Enjoy!
