      Hi there, I have tried to create a script that is triggered on the system-select event following the docs.

      I have created a script /home/pi/.emulationstation/scripts/system-select/test.sh:

      #!/bin/bash
      echo system select >> /home/pi/test.txt

      Which was chmod +x'd.

      This script is not called at all while navigating the retropie menu, selecting systems, and moving between systems (either by returning to the menu or using the quick system selection).

      When the script is moved to another event e.g. moved to scripts/screensaver-start it works as expected.

      My system:
      Raspberry Pi 4 Model B Rev 1.4
      RetroPie 4.8 (RPI 4/400) image
      Edit: EmulationStation V2.10.1RP

            Update your EmulationStation package and try again.
