      I can run the game, Gex, with no problems. Even though it's one player. So I know the controls work.

      For Way of the Warrior on 3DO on the main menu, I can select Game (which is versus mode) and choose my character on Player 1, but player 2 doesn't move. Arena looks like it's single player mode, but hitting it does nothing. I can only move through the stages. I can select other menu items such as high score and sound options. Both controllers are set to 3do joypad (1 and 2 respectively) and buttons are configured for A, B, C, L, R, Start and Select. I'm using the LR-Opera emulator on my RP4 and two dragonrise joysticks.

      Does anyone know why I'm having these problems? I've also tried a different romset to see if it was a bad rom.

        Go into the Retroarch menu, Quick Menu=>Options=>Active Input Devices and make sure that it is set to 2 (For 2 joysticks). At the top of the Options menu=>Manage Core Options. Save your Game and/or Content Directory options.
        Alternatively, I believe the value is in the 3do.opt:
        opera_active_devices = "2"
        if you're savvy with nano/CLI.

          @theretroprince THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! That was it. What a strange option to default to 1 player. I really appreciate the help.
