Different behavior launching on TV vs monitor

So I recently updated my retropie setup to include overlays and shaders. When I launch games on my monitor with ps4 controller they launch without issue. However, when I move raspberry pi to my controller cabinet with a TV many of the games don't complete launching, but return to game selection screen. I thought maybe it was curative shader, so I turned it off on a few games, but they still exited upon launching on TV.

Post the RetroArch verbose log file (on pastebin.com) from the unsuccessful launch.
