      Hello,

I have had a retropie setup I did not use for half a year. When I recently turned it on I got no signal. I've tested different screens and cables and concluded that my image must be corrupted. So I've put fresh retropie image on my Pi 3 and still no signal. What could be the issue?

I put a USB stick into the pi and it made all the directories in the retropie folder. So it works on that level.

      Thanks in advance!

Maybe the HDMI port is broken ?
Try adding hdmi_safe=1 on the config.txt file from the sdcard and boot it again - does that produce an image on your display ?

          Hello,

thank you for your response. I did try out another pi 3 and it worked. It is a bit odd to me, since I the original one worked a half a year ago and I haven't touched it since. The board looks fine. The port looks fine as well. I assume it is a hardware damage, is there a good community I can ask about this issue? I would hate to throw it away, when it can be fixed.

@wasddsaw Try asking directly in the Raspberry Pi forums - https://forums.raspberrypi.com/ - in the Troubleshooting forum.
