I have the Retro Pi up and running on my p 400, and it boots directly into the retropi.

I have a MS gamepad that I am using via a usb cable. My gamepad supports blutooth, yet I cannot find how I can connect the gamepad to my p 400 when booting to retropi.

Is there a way to get to a menu that will allow me to pair my gamepad?

When I boot using another ssd card and Raspbian and I can use the setup menu to pair the gamepad. I cannot get to that setup menu when booting directly to retropi.

Did you try the instructions in the RetroPie docs?

@windg Thank you for the link, that helped. The answer was to open the Options menu.
