i have a couple questions.

is there a way to make a cartridge system with sd card where when I put in an sd card with a from on it, it would show up in the retropie UI but when I remove the sd card the game goes away.

is it possible to make custom menus like the start menu that has the scraper and UI settings.
i want to make custom nes cartridges with a cartridge system on my raspberry pi

Partially. EmulationStation needs to restart in order to add/remove files from disk, so it won't work to add/remove the card at runtime.
