@Helm619 You didn't add the info requested - there's no need to 'agree' to anything. Did you read the topic in the link I posted ?

Try the instructions from RetroPie docs about editing ES configs: https://retropie.org.uk/docs/EmulationStation/?h=editing+es+configs#editing-es-configs

Try to install a new system from retropie setup.
                From the docs :
''The RetroPie-Setup script will automatically generate this config file alphabetically when you install any new system''

By the way, you don't have to do this to play neogeo cd games.

Neogeo-CD and PS2 these two systems that I cannot emulate on raspberry pi 5.
Otherwise Wii and GameCube work very well.
Despite controller configuration problems and some buggy ROM files. I am interested if you can give me the TIPS to make the Neogeo CD work. Thank you very much ☺️

You can play neogeocd games with two emulatros:

                      1. lr-fbneo-neocd
                      2. lr-neocd

                      For lr-fbneo-neocd :

                      1. Put the bios files [ neocdz.zip , neogeo.zip] into the BIOS/fbneo folder.
                      2. Put the neogeocd games into the neogeo folder.
                      3. Launch the game and choose from runcommand menu the lr-fbneo-neocd emulator.

Important instructions about this emulator: https://docs.libretro.com/library/fbneo/#how-do-i-launch-a-neogeo-cd-game

                      For lr-neocd

                      1. Install lr-neocd from experimental packages of retropie-setup
                      2. Create in the Bios, a folder, with name neocd (Bios/neocd) and add the bios files [ neocdz.zip , neogeo.zip]
                      3. Launch the game and choose from runcommand menu the lr-neocd emulator.

important info about this emulator: https://github.com/libretro/neocd_libretro
