I've been setting up my button mapping for MAME4Pi by pressing the TAB key once I have a game playing. However I've somehow managed to change the select key from 'Enter' to 'None". So now I cant select anything when I bring up the TAB menu?

I've spent the last couple of hours trying to figure out how to fix it but am getting nowhere :-(

I'm using a USB Keyboard and Gamepad on a Raspi2.

      EDIT:

I Realise It's in the wrong Topic but it wouldn't let me put it in the help section for some reason?

I accidentally did this myself just the other day :)

Delete the config file: /opt/retropie/configs/mame-mame4all/cfg/default.cfg (edited, docs were wrong)

Use the setup script to remove then reinstall the mame4all emulator, that will put a fresh config file back in the right place.

That config doesn't manage the inputs - the file to delete is /opt/retropie/configs/mame-mame4all/cfg/default.cfg - no need to re-install (unless you did remove the other file).

            I have moved it

What problem did you have ? Did you try going to the help / support section and click "New topic" at the top?

Cheers guys, that did the trick :-)

I'd been looking at the frontend keyboard controls in mame.cfg before.

              Hi Buzz,

I clicked on 'new topic', put in a title and typed out my problem. Help/Support was selected in the drop down box to the right. When I clicked submit it said i needed to create a tag. No matter what tag I created I always got the message along the lines of 'tag does not exist' which also prevented me from submitting my post.
