    Hey Everyone,

I used raspberry pi installer 1.8.5. and installed Bookworm Pi OS Light. I then updated and upgraded everything before going to the platform install guide in the docs. I used the Debian/Ubuntu install guide for RetroPie setup. I installed and updated everything to the current 4.8.8. as of the date of this post. Everything works perfectly! I was able to install lr-dolphin and it runs with the default retroarch core options with no problems and no overclock at all. I have been waiting for this day as I have a huge collection of GameCube games at home but no longer have the console system. There's a problem though. I downloaded 4k custom texture packs with links that were listed in the dolphin wiki with the proper game codes for each game. I also went to "Core Options" and set "Load Custom Textures" and "Prefetch Custom Textures" to ON. I know that RetroArch says to put custom texture folder into the "Saves/dolphin-emu/User/Load/Texture/" folder, but for the life of me, I can't find it anywhere in the RetroPie file system. Does anyone know where to put them?

I am not familiar with texture files. I checked my system, but I didn't find a path to place them.

You can try to create to this path: /opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch/config/ the following folders to put your textures: dolphin-emu/Load/Textures/game-id/.

I hope it works, but I doubt that the Pi5 has enough power for them. Also, try standalone Dolphin, it is superior to Libretro.

@Mario-Maniac Do you have a link to the documentation for adding external textures ?
Assuming that the Saves folder refers to the save_folder RetroArch folder, then you should create the folder dolphin-emu/User/Load/Texture/ in the wii/gc folder(s), where you have copied your disc images/wad files, and then copy the texture in that sub-folder.

@Mario-Maniac said in lr-dolphin custom textures on pi 5:

              In the roms folder?

              Yes.

This is for the standalone emulator, not the libretro core.
