No Sound from 3.5mm jack

Well I am replying or starting a new topic since the initial forum DID NOT work for me. I have a sound bar plugged into the 3.5mm jack and when I got to any of the following:
Emulation Station Configuration screen
RetroPie Config
Raspberry Pi configurationI see the menu options and I select the 3.5MM Jack option and I reboot...
Only problem... still no sound. I know the soundbar works since I was working fine with my Windows 11 Micro PC. I love the RetroPie but there are so many issues with configuration that is very tasking. I just want the sound to work... why is that so hard for my particular RBP not understanding.
I am frustrated today since NOTHING is working as it should today. I have a day off and I have been working on this type of crap all day... wasted my day off. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Is the sound/audio working in-game ?
