      Hi @muldjord -

I've been using your excellent Skyscraper app on retropie for years, I love it - thank you! I usually use screenscraper.fr for most of my games (with the userCreds param set) - but I saw MobyGames has released a 'pro' package (about $5/mo I think) that has some neat features.

      https://www.mobygames.com/mobypro/

They require an apiKey param in request to the endpoints - is that something that can be configured in the [mobygames] settings in config.ini in Skyscraper?

      Thanks!

@sith-lord-goz note current maintainer is Gemba (@Lolonois), muldjord hasn't been active for a bit.

Sure, feel free to file an issue at GH. I might implement it.

I had a cursory look: Does one get unlimited (or very high) requests with MobyPro?

The only number I was able to find is 720 requests/h (https://www.mobygames.com/info/api/#limits) which is low in contrast to a paid screenscraper access of same value.

Many things MobyPro offers are of no use for scraping / Skyscraper anyway.

I am also not sure if I am fan, that ~MobyGames~ Activision/Microsoft is trying to monetize community created value.

@sleve_mcdichael - ah thanks for the info! Last time I set up a pi system (3b) was about 6 years ago so I'm out of touch :)

@Lolonois - thanks for replying so quickly. I was reading the MobyGames section on https://gemba.github.io/skyscraper/SCRAPINGMODULES/ and it sounded like it could be something cool, but maybe i'm trying to solve a problem that doesn't exist. So far screenscraper, openretro, etc are covering things really well. I might look into it more and report back if there is anything worthwhile there. Cheers!
