I tried the "Nintendo championship NES edition" and thought it was kinda fun. But it only had a few games to play from.

If you don't know what it is, its a "speedrunt contest" kind of game. You can play up to 4 players and it ranomise between a couple of games and you have a task to complete as fast as possible to get the best score.

My question... Is it possible to do a similar thing for retropie? You and up to 4 players all play against each other to compete who can do a task the fastest. I guess you need to program a game for it that keeps track of score and handle the randomize thing. So I know I can't do.

Not without creating a new game, which is what Nintendo did.
