Does Scummvm 2.9.0 not work with Retropie 4.71? only RP 5?

I tried updating and scummvm standalone 2.9.0. and it no longer works. I'm going to reload my backed up sd card with a working scummvm 2.8.1 standalone.
If there are any links to scummvm 2.9.0 standalones that work with retropie 4.71 please link me :D
my backup didn't work alas
Is there still a link to the previous 2.8.1 standalone anywhere?

I don't think that's the case (Pi5 only), and 4.7.1 is also very old. Please provide a log and the full specs of your setup, as detailed in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first.
