Retropie PPSSPP libsnappy-dev libzip-dev failing to install

Just as the subject reads. Pi3B+ with an updated build of Retropie, trying to install PPSSPP and it keeps throwing errors about libsnappy-dev and libzip-dev not installing. I have no clue where to get them and every other post that says "Yay I fixed it by changing the source" was kind enough to not tell what this source was or how they fixed it in detail, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
