      Hey Everyone,

I'm having a weird issue that I'm not sure where to begin troubleshooting. I built a custom arcade cab running RetroPie on a RaspberryPi 5. It's using the red and blue EG Starts LED Zero Delay USB encoders that are everywhere on Amazon. Looks and works awesome but with one issue. I cannot press more than two buttons simultaeously. I didn't notice it until trying to slide in Mortal Kombat as Subzero. The input requires three buttons be pressed along with a d-pad direction (LP+B+LK and Back on joystick). It's a very easy input but will not trigger. I then attempted a similar thing in Street Fighter Alpha to trigger the alpha mode and that fails to trigger. Even things in the Marvel Vs. games that require 3x punch or 3x kicks fail to trigger. Has anyone else seen this functionality? Using the hotkeys works so I know 2-button combinations function. Just no more than two. Anyone have an idea of how I can get 3 simultaneous button presses working?

Pi Model or other hardware: Raspbery Pi 5
Power Supply used: Offical 27W, 5a Raspberry Pi 5 USB-C Charger
RetroPie Version Used: 4.8.9 (fc57b01a) Bookworm
Built From: Manual installation on top of Bookworm 64 lite
USB Devices connected: 2x Zero Delay USB Encoders, 1x Mayflash Dolphin Bar, Logitech Dongle
Controller used: Zero Delay 2 Player LED buttons / sticks
      Error messages received: none

Just an update. This issue is resolved although I can't say how. My SD card failed and I restored a backup to an M.2 NVME, For some reason no issue with three simultaneaous presses there. I then restored the same backup to another SD and no issues there either. I believe the issue came about after my last backup when I updated the controller profiles. Since my backup was pre-update it doesn't seem to be present there. I'll update the software on the card and see what breaks it and report back in case anyone ever has this issue again.

On Android, there is a known bug in RetroArch where two buttons won't register as being pressed together.

To correct that, change the Input Block Timeout from the default of 0 to 1, up to 4 if needed.

Think I usually set mine at 2.

Probably doesn't help you any, but it's the only thing that came to mind on this.

Glad you got it resolved even if you don't know what happened. :)
