My Raspberry PI 5 has a brand new 64-Bit Desktop install running debian bookworm 12. I installed Retropie and everything was working great. I decided to add a video splashscreen to make the bootup look fun. I read your article and set it up how you described it. When I booted my Pi up the screen had an opaque white on the video and the video froze after awhile it unfreezes and freezes again the same way. If someone knows what is going on pls help.

      Details:
Raspberry Pi 5 Model B Rev 1.0 (Canakit)
      OS: Debian GNU/Linux 12 (bookworm) aarch64
Standard 45W power supply from canakit
      Standard 75hz monitor
