So, you might still receive it but you also already got your money back?
Or are you convinced that you'll not get the controller?

@msxer I don't know what to believe in just yet. But I find it odd that something seems to be on it's way and the seller is suspended from eBay. Though there could be another reason why he's suspended. I mean, nothing concrete indicates that it has something to do with what we bought from him.

Anyway, I think we both need to see what happens over the next few weeks. I'll get back to you if I figure out some more details.

@msxer I avoid eBay when it comes to anything RetroPie. I stick with known reputable sellers generally through Amazon or pi specific shops. Though one time on eBay a seller was suspended, I got a refund, and the product still came, so that was cool I guess. Other times I've just been burned.

Yeah, I'll be avoiding eBay too from now on. But knowing there is Paypal protection I just took the gamble.

I've ordered a lot of stuff from AliExpress by the way (including my first 8bitdo controller), never had any problems. But there I only buy from sellers who have hundreds of previous sales. And AliExpress have an escrow system, so that helps.

Did anyone receive the 8bitdo from this seller? I didn't yet and probably never will. Submitted a Paypal refund request.

@msxer I got my money back as I mentioned a couple of weeks ago. I never received the product though. I guess I've learned my lesson, so when products like a NES30 is on sale for about £11.99 I will definitely think twice before I order one. On the other hand, eBay's money back guarantee works like a charm.

Just make sure you have a paypal account and that you use it when making the purchase. I used a guest account when making my purchase, and had to jump through some hoops, including calling paypal, before they started processing my refund. I did get my refund, so it all worked out, but it would have been much easier if I had already had a paypal account.

Well, Paypal refunded me in full without problems. Great service from Paypal/eBay. They wrote that they were able to recover the money, so I hope this means they actually got it from the seller's account.

                      The NES30 Pro never arrived.
